The holidays are coming. The work parties, family parties, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah and the New Year. I used to struggle every season with what to wear until the most elegant, stylish and fascinating woman I know told me a secret that solved all my problems. I'm going to share it with you.
Buy moderately priced basics. A black dress and black slacks, a winter white dress and sweater. Then invest in a the most amazing accessory, and that's what people will remember. Every year I buy myself a necklace or sautoir that will set me apart and I wear it to every event, but change up the basics. Let's face it, nobody cares if your sweater is cashmere or polyester when you've got this thing wrapped around your neck.
Treat yourself and remember, if you take care of your Chanel, it will last a lifetime.
